Melbourne Food and Wine Festival

Gina, Sandy and I went out for a drink and a bite on Saturday. Starting at the Transport bar at Fed Square for a beer or two and a bit of people watching.


Then up and down the tents for some serious eating. Butter chicken, eggplant pastie thingie, rotis, chorizo, honey and lavender ice cream and much more.
Security and safety were big concerns but these guys made us feel safe and as long as you stayed between the flags drowning wasn't an issue.

But you'll be glad to hear after a short walk there was still room for more beer and eggplant chips at the Blue Train Cafe.

Delusions of grandeur

We finally replaced the exploding cistern, even got a new seat thrown in. Now we have moved up in the world.
